Salt Magazine was a subsection of AIM Media. It was an Ohio quarterly magazine subscription sent out all over Ohio. Split into 4 regions, this magazine covered new small businesses, local events and guides for new visitors. I had the opportunity to do a complete redesign on the magazine taking it from the 90's to the 21st century.  We updated the layout, color schemes, font choice, and overall vibe of the magazine. We wanted to make it feel more special and make each story its own feature. Below are some of my best examples. I was the sole designer and illustrator for this magazine and made all the graphics by hand using adobe illustrator.
